Gotham Capital is a series of long/short equity hedge funds accessible in mutual fund form. The funds are led by hedge fund superstars Joel Greenblatt and Robert Goldstein. The firm handpicks long and short stock portfolios based on valuation. Subject to a meticulous set of risk controls, Gotham then buy companies at the biggest discount according to their value assessment and short those companies selling at the biggest premium based on Gotham's assessment of value.
