Frank Fabozzi
While many academics end up working in the markets or as consultants to Wall Street, only Frank Fabozzi has claimed a greater command as the Pied Piper of educational publishing in finance. He's a one-man center of information for investors, institutions, regulators, academics, analysts, and financial engineers. He solely created and furnished a library of books on fixed-income education where nothing of the kind existed, helping educate thousands of individuals in the theory and business of the debt markets. In November 2002, the Fixed Income Analysts Society welcomed Frank Fabozzi into its Hall of Fame.
