Jim Rickards has spent more than four decades at the intersection of global capital markets, government advisory, and economic strategy.
He is best known as the principal negotiator of the U.S. Federal Reserve’s 1998 rescue of Long-Term Capital Management.
He has advised the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon on financial threats, where he facilitated the first-ever financial war game simulation.
Rickards has also served as General Counsel for several alternative asset management firms and a stock exchange facility.
