John Liew co-founded AQR Capital Management and is currently the head of Global Asset Allocation. He published articles on the topics of global asset allocation and stock selection in the The Journal of Portfolio Management and Financial Analysts Journal. He received several awards including the Bernstein Fabozzi/Jacobs Levy award and the Graham and Dodd award for his articles. He is also a member of the University of Chicago’s Board of Trustees and sits on the university’s investment committee. He created the Liew College Fellows Fund to finance undergraduates who have unpaid research opportunities with the University of Chicago's faculty.
