Kerr Neilson
Kerr Neilson co-founded Platinum Asset Management in 1994, 10 years after migrating to Sydney. Presently, he still owns more than half of Platinum together with his ex-wife Judith. They had partially cashed out in a well-timed 2007 IPO. Neilson has been compared with Warren Buffet for his value-based contrarian stock picks. He bought his first stock at age 13.
