A Paris-native, Emmanuel Roman studied mathematics and economics at the University of Paris Dauphine and the University of Chicago. He spent 18 years as Senior Partner at Goldman Sachs. In 2005, he retired from Goldman Sachs to sit as Co-CEO of GLG Partners. Since 2016, he has been appointed as CEO of PIMCO, one of the leading asset management firms globally.
