Marcia Chatelain

Marcia Chatelain is a Distinguished Professor at Georgetown University. She was named a Top Influencer by the Chronicle of Higher Education. She is a scholar of African American life and culture. A frequent public speaker and consultant to educational institutions, Chatelain delivers lectures and workshops on inclusive teaching, social movements, and food justice. She has appeared on local and national television outlets including MSNBC, CNN, BBC America, and PBS. She has received funding from the Harry S. Truman Scholarship and the Ford Foundations, as well as several teaching awards.
