Philip Fischer

Dr. Philip Fischer has over 30 years of finance experience, with his areas of expertise including fixed income and municipal bonds, focusing on economic and market analysis. He is the former Managing Director, Municipal Bond Research, and Global Indices at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He also served at Salomon Brothers and at Citicorp and had been a professor at SUNY Albany and at the University of Oregon. With his group working closely with other Fixed Income and Global Wealth Investment Management research professionals, they helped analyze and position the municipal asset class as part of an asset allocation strategy. Fischer has been recognized by Smith’s Research and by Institutional Investor as an all-star municipal strategist.
