Saifedean Ammous is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Lebanese American University. He is a renowned economist and author focusing on bitcoin. Ammous authored the first academic book on the economics of bitcoin, The Bitcoin Standard. His research interests include energy and environmental economics as well as monetary economics and political economy.
