Electronic Trading

Electronic Trading

Electronic trading comprises setting up an account with a chosen brokerage, including providing your contact and financial information to ease electronic transfers between the investor’s bank and the brokerage. When placing an order, the complex technology allows the brokerage to connect with all the securities exchanges looking to effect trades, whereas those exchanges concurrently interact with all the brokerages.

All information is protected and stored by the Depository Trust Company, a recordkeeper of all financial transactions made by U.S. shareholders, therefore guaranteeing that no information is lost.
